Our goal is not to reinvent the wheel, but rather to empower people, both on and off the road, to take advantage of the luxuries they already own. The brand is ultimately a storyteller who captures the raw moments experienced in real-life settings capturing honesty, dynamism, and spontaneity to produce a grounded and authentic image of what a ‘day in the life’ of an INFINITI owner might look like.

WHAT IS INFINITI FILM PROJECT?

We have discovered a harmonious balance between INFINITI and art, where both fit hand in hand. We believe in living loudly, capturing, and narrating human connection and self-expression no matter how wacky or wonderful it may be. That’s why we have introduced the INFINITI Film Project. As a part of the INFINITI Film Project, we are giving progressive challengers, eager to inspire and alter the current norms, the opportunity to be change makers. We are looking for those that aren’t rule-followers to help us redefine the current stereotype of luxury, while still capturing the elegance of our brand. If you’re a film student based in the region, we are presenting you with an opportunity to be heard far and wide. To be a part of empowering people to embrace real life in its perfectly imperfect glory. We are looking for visionaries, those who can showcase who we are and what we stand for; from modern luxury, love and human language to daringness and forwardness.  After all submissions have been received and we have reached the cut-off date, our INFINITI team and film director will review each application and select a successful story from each category. If your application is successful, you will receive one-to-one guidance from our experienced directors and producers, who will provide all the necessary equipment to bring your creative idea to life.

Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is: INFINITI Middle East (IMEA) – A division of Nissan Middle East FZE P.O. Box 61111, Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
  2. The competition is open to residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Levant countries, aged 18 years or over, except employees of INFINITI and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organization or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  5. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via infiniti-tv.com.
  6. This competition will be run exclusively on the official website of the competition, infiniti-tv.com.
  7. The starting date for entry will be July 15th and the closing date for entry will be September 20th, at 00:00. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  9. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

1.       The project will officially be started by the promoter on July 15th when the prospective entrants will be able to access the website infiniti-tv.com to submit their details [email / phone number] in order to receive updates with regards to when applications can be received.

2.       The promoter will post on the fore aforementioned website 5 videos pertaining to 5 concepts (DARE, FORWARD, HUMAN LANGUAGE, LOVE and LUXURY). These 5 videos will provide details over how the creative prompts should be approached by the entrant.

3.       The entrant is then tasked to create a script that fits within one of the 5 categories.

4.       The entrant has 2 weeks to submit their script onto the website under each respective category. 

5.       After the 2 weeks period has finished, the promoter will shortlist the most creative prompts and if the entrant is successful, they will be informed via their preferred method of communication (email / phone number) within a week.

6.       The winning prompt will be turned into a short-form video and will be promoted across the promoter’s social media properties.

  1. The promoter shall exclusively own all production and intellectual rights to the script and the resulting product (i.e. film). The entrant fully agrees by submitting the script that they are renouncing all production and intellectual rights to the script and the resulting product (i.e. film). 
  2. The artistic and directorial choices related to the final product (i.e. film), such as actors, director, photography, cinematography, etc. are at the sole discretion of the promoter and its partners and
    it will not be dictated by the entrant. The entrant fully agrees, by submitting the script, that they are renouncing all creative decision-making with regards to the resulting product (i.e. film). 
  3. The promoter will choose to showcase the name of the winner alongside the final film on their social posts, but this decision is at the sole discretion of the promoter and it is by no means final. The promoter reserves the full right to not showcase the name of the winner without notice for any reason whatsoever pertaining to the promoter itself or any external factors.
  4. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  5. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition for any reason whatsoever pertaining to the promoter itself or any external aforementioned factors. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  6. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate competition details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  7. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  9. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be  referred to and finally resolved by arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the DIFC – LCIA Arbitration Centre, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference to this clause. The number of arbitrators shall be three (3). The seat or legal place of arbitration shall be DIFC Courts, Dubai, UAE. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. 
  10. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  11. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  12. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to INFINITI Middle East and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at infiniti-tv.com/.
  13. The Promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.
  14. The Promoter also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
